Trudy graduated from Central Pennsylvania Business School in 1985, with an Associates Degree majoring in the Paralegal program.  After working as a Paralegal for eight years, six of those in the area of banking law, Trudy realized she needed a change and made the short leap to the financial services industry.  She began her journey in personal financial planning with The Comprehensive Financial Group, where she worked for a number of independent representatives within the same firm; one of whom was Taylor K Ranker, II. When Taylor and Matthew T. Hanshaw established the Ranker-Hanshaw Financial Group in 1994, Trudy joined the firm to provide support.

Trudy passed her Series 7 exam in 2001, and in the fourth quarter of 2006 received National Planning Corporation’s “GEM” Award in recognition of “Going the Extra Mile”.

Trudy is married and lives in Lewisberry with her husband, Steve, and their cat, Mr. Bean.
