Matt is co-founder and president of the Ranker-Hanshaw Group. He has earned the designations of CFP® and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), two of the most respected and recognizable designation in the financial planning field.

In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family. He has three school age children who keep him very busy. As well, Matt competes in triathlons, and completed his first Ironman competition in 2006.  He has completed Ironman races in Florida, Arizona and has multiple finishes in Lake Placid.

Matt charitably serves the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a member of the Board of Trustees.  He brings his love of triathlon to the organization by serving on the Team In Training Executive Committee.  He also fundraises each year by competing in a Team In Training event.
